Experience the magic of winter at The Chester House Estate’s first-ever Festive Skating Rink, running from 23rd November to 24th December! Set within the beautiful grounds of this historic estate, the rink offers a perfect blend of seasonal joy and family fun. Whether you’re a seasoned skater or trying it for the first time, this promises to be the highlight of your holiday season.

What to Expect:
Step onto the rink beneath sparkling lights and festive decorations, with joyful holiday music setting the scene for a wonderful winter experience. Skaters ages 4+ of all abilities are welcome, making it a perfect day out for families, couples, or groups of friends. After your skating session, warm up with delicious seasonal treats and hot drinks from our stalls, have a lunch in our stunning Farmhouse Cafe or take a stroll around the estate to soak in the festive atmosphere.

Opening Hours:

Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays CLOSED (open during Northamptonshire school holidays)

Thursday – Sunday from 23rd November to 13th December: Every hour 10am until 4pm

14th December to 23rd December: Every hour 10am until 8pm

Tuesday 24th December 2024: Every hour 10am until 4pm

Please ensure you arrive 15 minutes before your booked session to get your skates and be ready to enjoy your full time on the rink.

Ticket Prices:

- Adults(16+): £15.50 - £18.00 (depentant on date)
- Children (ages 4 - 16): £12.50 - £15.00 (dependant on date)

All tickets are subject to a 0.50p booking fee

Booking in advance is highly recommended to secure your preferred time slot, as spaces are limited and expected to fill up quickly.

Health and Safety Information
Your safety is our priority, and we’ve implemented several measures to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all:

- Skates & Equipment: High-quality skates will be provided, and all skates are sanitized between sessions. Use of your own skates is not permitted.
- First Aid: There will be qualified first aid staff on-site throughout all operating hours to assist with any accidents or injuries.
 

Car Parking
Convenient parking is available for all visitors, with ample space close to the event. Parking is free of charge for ticket holders. Disabled parking and access are also available for those with specific needs.

As part of our magical Winter Wonderland expereicne, for just £20.00, you can hire a lane for 30 minutes for up to 6 people and test your skills. Whether you're a seasoned pro or trying curling for the first time, hiring a lane is a great way to enjoy some friendly competition and practice your skills. For just £20, you can secure a lane for half an hour of fun, making it the perfect choice for friends, family gatherings, or team-building events. Our lanes are available for all skill levels, so come along, slide the stones, and aim for the target Book your lane now and experience the thrill of this winter sport!
