This Halloween, Chester House Estate invites families to a specially designed SEN (Special Educational Needs) sessionat Spooksville—a calm, inclusive, and engaging Halloween experience.
What Is the SEN Session?
Our SEN-friendly session offers a quieter, more relaxed introduction to Spooksville, designed especially for children with additional needs. The session begins at 9:15 AM, before the main event opens, providing 45 minutes of peaceful, low-sensory access to the activities.
After this calm start, families are welcome to stay on for the full morning session that starts at 10am, giving children plenty of time to enjoy the experience at their own pace.
How It Works:

Start time: 9:15 AM (before general entry at 10:00 AM)

Calm environment: Lower noise levels, reduced crowds, and a gentler pace to help children settle in.

Extra time: SEN families can remain for the full morning session, finishing at 1:00 PM.

Suggested plan: We recommend trying the main activities—like pumpkin carvin and the haunted pumpkin patch—during the SEN session, and then moving on to the outdoor areas the the ghost hunt once the morning session begins (this will involve moving around the site).
